Walk along the beach

Sue Clennell

 

The sails are as white and crisp
as a nun’s wimple,
night shadow stalks behind,
light slips in front.
I feel
fairies blow around my mouth.
The air is so quiet
shells chime
as they roll
back into the sea.
Tonight
the moon is a gold face
warmly wrapped in mauve.

 漫步沙灘方校军  譯
帆,潔白而挺括
像修女的頭巾,
破曉之光踏著碎步,輕盈至前
夜影悄然尾隨
我仿佛感到
仙女在唇邊呵氣。
一切如此靜謐
海貝慢慢挪動回海裡
發出細小的鳴奏。
今夜
月兒金色的臉龐
籠罩在蒼穹溫馨的淡紫色里。
